'Edging to the Eve of Not-So-Slight Beginnings'

Come monday it'll be the new room, new place (and probably new perks & downs).

But anyways, I will miss

  1. Hot showers
  2. The solitude of a Christian lecturer's house.
  3. Conversations post-work in English.
  4. The nice and comfortable bed.
  5. Desks that would allow me to doodle, write and read.
  6. The marvelous washing machine.
  7. Hot water from the electric kettle.
  8. Distilled water from the water filter unit.
  9. Rides to the church if i happen to stay over in Penang on Sunday
  10. The convenience of living on the 1st floor.

( _")

Extra Bit:

So after the brief exchange of keys and talk (I was given the wrong set of keys which would have allowed me to someone else's room, not mine) with 'Ah Sing', i realised that this could be a prospective blood-deal, if someone leaves (eg any other 3 tenants excluding me); the remaining would have to foot the rent of the whole place, as it is originally rented out as a whole; not rooms. And yeah by the way, 'Ah Sing' isn't exactly his real name. Supposedly of trying to evade the agent (to lead the agent from knowing the truth, as knowing a person's name would grant him/her of some sort of power or something that is unknown to me - well that seems to be what 'Ah Sing' believes anyways...) his spur-of-the moment lie was exactly that. I never did ask why he chose 'Ah Sing'. He's actually 'Ah Ahn'. If i misprounce his name, in Hokkien it would literally mean 'tight'. I have to be careful in my enunciation.
