'4 Paths to Nowhere'

So another old school gathering, a night of reminiscent; over a couple of chilled beers and Taiping foodstall offerings. It's always good to have that. That and the feeling of being true to yourself and still having people around, enjoying your company. Had to relieve myself twice over the aftereffects of having a few tiger-beers through a thin straw. Thanks EL, CH & Hin'.

Collapsed to a bed, blanketless - within 10 minutes (or so) and that was it.

"...Words speak and choose,
make sense and lose;
capsize the tall tale, but always fail.
Words speak and choose, make sense and lose;
forfeit the tall tale, I always will..."

Passive:

I was passing through a room, almost empty save for an asian woman. It was someone whom i knew, it could have been someone i didn't. I didn't care. But i watched her, as i was passing. She was distraught over the fact that she had committed onanism on an important document. She blamed the West for changing her - for it's influence over her life, she said she wouldn't have done it if she was back in her home country. Visually i could see the guilt all over her face but she was blaming someone else for it. It was then i left the room. That or the room just collapsed into nothing, and i was taken to another part of the dream.

Reactive:

1. All of a sudden i was driving my car, nonchalantly cruising and then i realised that i had a new tape player and the air-conditioning was repaired. I was actually delighted in that little suprise and drove home to ask mum about it. She told me that it was the technical support guy who was working 3 cubicles away from me at my workplace who did it. And that i needed to pay him back MYR300-00. It shocked me a little that someone whom i was only aquainted with, would do such a favour for me. Nevertheless, i tried to make my way to him (without directions, addresses or a destination - i wonder what was i thinking..) to pay him back for the repairs.

2. I was wandering the streets of theater road, nearby the supermarket till i came upon a friend. In the waking-life he doesn't wear glasses, but now he was searching for a certain type of spectacle frame. He requested it by some serial number that he said i would find etched on the sidearms. I walked around the streets, examining each spectacle that i found on the ground; but not once finding the matching serial number which he wanted. It was very tiring and frustrating.

Active:

I was sitting somewhere with my drumsticks. I was playing them through the air. I was slowly developing rythm and style. Soon, a few people came by and watched me; as i continued to play 'air-drums'.

Woke up around 8.00 am. No hangover. But i felt as if my dreams had taken so much from me.

I wonder what does it all mean then.
