'One Act to Another'

Presumably i am a book lover. Reason is 'cause i just finished Albom's 'The 5 People You Meet In Heaven' in a nites sitting (i was lying on my bed). Man, this book was on my reads list but it has been a while since i've have real conviction to buy any other books from authors whom i weren't familiar with (I'm crazy about Neil Gaiman books ;-). And yeah i have to credit Jing for sneakingly sticking it into my bagpack. I was delighted when i went home without a water bottle but with a good book. So yeah in summary i'm not going to ruin anything for those who have yet to pick this up, but those who are fans of fiction and human drama (depends on what's going on actually for me, kills me to read pure lovey ones.....).

So what have i learned to appreciate from this experience?
  1. Everything happens for a reason though it might not be evident right now, and yeah everyone/someone would need to contribute something for a certain thing to happen (what's scary is sometimes even 'accidents' might not be accidents).
  2. Take things with a pinch of salt. Try not to be angry/irritated so easily.
  3. I'm going back to my Gaiman books, haha
  4. Do what you love and love what you do.
  5. I need to get a dictionary to express myself more.
  6. 'Tuesdays with Morrie' should be read after 'The 5 People You Meet In Heaven' (don't ask me why, it's just a feeling.....)
  7. Reading on a bed is heck when you wake up in the morning.
  8. I need a more brightly lighted room but currently it's comfortable, just not for reading.
  9. Every now and then don't feel frustrated if the purpose of your work/life ain't clear. It'll get to you soon enough....
  10. I actually like to read! (which is scary for me....'cause i do enough of that everyday at work!)

Back to life outside my room.

Today i found that Penang busrides ain't so bad right now (head is conditioned for anything right now, haha). I worked passed the 6.30 mark just now and actually missed the last bus from Green Hall, so i took some advice from one of the people i keep meeting at the bus stop (until this day i have yet to know this ladys' name) and walked into a small path just right beside the chinese temple (i don't know names) after the chinese hall something something (from my Green Hall office). The path was a bit narrow for vehicles which explained why there wasn't any traffic at all there. And true enough after a nice walk (it wasn't hot there as well) i came in front of Cititel Hotel (pardon me Penang-ites if i get the name wrong, once in a while i name things according to what i feel and a mix of what i see:- which is very blunderred....), from there i took a left and walked all the way to Komtar. A great walk and very scenic. Feel like getting a camera just for the things i see here.....

Well, that was a nice day looking back at it. My colleagues were giving me strange stares for my millionth time of asking how a process of work went. 'Cause i didn't open my black book to guide me, i think my memory ain't that bad so yeah, let's throw away the crutch shall we? ;-)

I see another holiday over the horizon.....Wesak Day!

;-)

Extra bit:

I wonder how many people will have to endure the situation i just went through. Imagine yourself in a cyberface. You're blogging. You're using msn for conversing with buddies. Halfway through the pc hangs after 1. The IE freezes (and no, i'm on pretty decent sites mind you.....), 2. The Alt+Ctrl+Del doesn't work (yeah real smart, cybercafe people....), 3. I can't go anywhere as there's not even a desktop shortcut in the toolbar below, so yeah i went and click IE again from the Start button (tell me what would you do?....). Ok so now, the whole thing just freezes and i'm getting 'Ding' 'Ding' from my msn but i can't see what's happening 'cause of the pc stoning. I pick myself off from the seat and walk to the counter, "Ahem, ....Hang...", and the guy replies, "....Hang?....", so i say, "....Yeah....(No, i was just thinking of getting up from the seat and walked here a couple of meters to say 'hang' 'cause i so dig the story about the kid crying 'wolf')". So the guy walks to the problematic pc and stares heroically into the screen and mutters...., "No wonderla, you got SO MANY things opened!".

I had 3 IEs open. And 2 msn conversation boxes.

Yeah, thanks for rebooting kid.

Nitenite.
