'My Wallet Needs An Intermission'

Slept at 3 something am, trying to maximise the bandwidth that i'm paying MYR66-00 a month for, yeah.... it's kinda dumb, but i assume that this is a human condition where i try and reason, and justify spending/sacrificing though others may think it's a bit of a waste. Very normal. So i don't give much thought on what others think on this...

It goes something like this:

Penang rate in Cybercafes - MYR2-50 per hour (more than an hour and additional, that, i'm not too sure, but usually each session of me being on my ass in front of a pc screen that's not mine, i'd take about 90 mins & pay about MYR3-00... and sometimes MYR3-50 if that particular kid guarding the main console feels cheeky....).

At home, in Taiping i practically have the pc switched on the whole time, which is about maybe 10 hours + +. So yeah, here i go with my 'reasoning'. In the amount of time that the pc is transfering data over in cyberspace, i figure that i roughly get more than MYR66-00s' worth. And that's the answer i give to the people who ask me, "Why are you still subscribing to that Streamyx thing when you're not around to use it?". Marvelous calculations if you ask me. And a prideful brain.

Anyways since i'm on the topic of money & spending, i realise that my funds are drying up pretty fast. It was just the other day (probably 2 days back) where i had visited the good ol' ATM and asked it to bestow upon me MYR50-00. Currently as i'm typing this i only have a few 1 ringgit notes totalling to a good MYR4-00 begging to be kept in the wallet. I have no idea where the rest went. Even my calculations betray me. I keep getting MYR20-00+ lost in space somewhere.

Well, i'm thankful that it has already been half a month. 2 more weeks to go and the job will give me another months worth of motivation by pay. At least the hours are passing by like minutes and not days.

Just hope that it won't rain so heavily during the mornings in Penang when i have to go to work.
