Rite now, i'm caught between 2 CS players blasting their way into each other, sniping and such. Yea. I miss the good ol' days, but somehow, i'm not goin' to go there anymore, too absorbing and yeah me looking at the screen with such intensity so that i can shoot someone's head or vital points is just too taxing after 8 hours of working with nothing but a Microsoft Outlook and some other colorless programme. I'd prefer to peer. And laugh at their untimely demise in the gaming world.
No, i'm not morbid, i'm just amused at how sneaky some people are, hiding behind boxes and sniping people w/o being seen. I've been done in playing CS like that before. Shot and dead w/o even knowing where the person was. Pretty frustrating, especially if u keep getting downed by the same guy, who laughs out loud each time he does it. So true in this cyber. The blokes on my right and left are just trying to 'collaborate' by going to different directions but peering ocassionally at each others' screens to find their enemies. Yup, good ol' days...
Yeah also i found out today that the thing was true about the terminal for the buses that are to leave for Taiping. It's been shifted to somewhere called Pisa, which is like travelling half of Penang to get to, from where i stay, so yeah, i figure that i'm going to get a ticket pre-day at Butterworth tomorrow...will have to get on a ferry, buy a ticket (and that's if there are ANY for Friday nite!), and get back to the island. But yeahs, i have a holiday tomorrow so it's fine....plenty of time to kill and mallrat around. Hope that i get a ticket, hope that i get a ticket....
Which means i'm down to ONE working day in Penang. My 'mentor' wouldn't be coming on Friday, which is pretty smart....tomorrow plus friday, yeahs, that's thinking. Which might leave me in a lurch or approaching disasters that are going to form, post holiday, anything can happen. Might be going nuts on Friday. Might.
Just wish me well, not the best, just WELL. Hehehe.
Anyways, tonight was just nice. Having dinner with an ex-colleague, she said that i've changed, at one point she was even shocked that i became so 'outspoken'. She said i was nothing like that when we used to hang out a year and a half ago. Guess things just move. And being human, i move too. But at the end of it, it was more nice than 'oops-i-accidently-asked-a-monster-out' kinda thing. It was nice catching up and meeting an old friend. Another good way to end a day.
'Nite.
