'Qing Ming and Me'

'Brain Damage'

A pretty lame way to start a post but yeah, what happened so far today already constitutes a bad day. Going to go back later, so i thought might as well maximise my Streamyx connection in Taiping and post what had happened from morning till now.

1. I had been bitten by leeches, yeah guys aren't supposed to complain about things like that but i didn't even get to crush the critter!. I was chopping some grass after which i sat down and saw my right foot bleeding profusely between the toes. I had to walk around to a few graves after that with a crumpled piece of newspaper wedged between my toes.
2. I had to walk a few kilometres because the old route had been changed into a one way road. The sun didn't help to improve my spirits. Also probably the previous nights drizzle and the massive movement of vehicles made the road more muddy then ever. Getting your feet dirty was inevitable.
3. This year saw fewer relatives in the Qing Ming event. There was only 4 of us.
4. Right before having lunch with a buddie who was in town (Currently works in KL, but was back for Qing Ming as well), my car blew it's air conditioning again. AAAGGGRRRRHHHHHHHH!!!!. The explosion was pretty loud internally, i would have died of embarassment if anyone from the outside noticed. I was parked right in the middle of town with busy traffic while waiting for my said friend who was at the ATM during that time. Damn.....
5. I have developed a mild case of flu during my stay here in Taiping.

Oh well, i guess you can't win 'em all....though come to think of it, i was pretty lucky that the air cond didn't blow right in the middle of my trip to Taiping a day ago. It would have been disasterous. I hope things get better this week onwards, workwise and lifewise.
