- I can hog the air conditioning.
- I can sleep w/o worrying about kung-fu-ing the person next to me (and many other ridiculous actions that would otherwise embarass me or get me into muck land).
- I can basically have my private space.
What i do NOT wish for is:
- Kids who seem to be sugarhigh (or maybe have a body condition where they must scream, being impishly active or have the ability to talk loudly till the cows come home). They seem to distract me from sleeping, the parents sometimes realise they are powerless over their children and can only hang their heads low when i give them a blank stare (and supposedly my blank stares aren't pleasant to look at).
- People who basically call every single individual that they know with their cellulars and have meaningless empty conversations to kill the time. Just the other day i had one experience with one of these, basically after about every 5 minutes or so, this woman would call some friend and say things about her going back for the weekend, yaada yaada yaada. I have no idea how such individuals can ever save money.
- The bus to aquire a flat tire during the course of the journey. I've done this one as well. ;-)
- Loud chatters.
- Broken air-conditioning.
Oh well, yeah that's just me, wanting AND complaining. But i find that all that's healthy, at least i don't restrict myself to fester cancer.
Yesterday was cool, a real jamming session, some songs were played out of familiarity (which sometimes i use the term 'practicing'), and some really obscure ones where no one in the room would think of/plan of playing pre-event thingie; Deep Purple's 'Highway Star' (I had no play in this, which was sweet to watch, hehe), Radiohead's 'Paranoid Android' (Weeeeeeeeeeeeee), GnRs' 'Sweet Child 'O Mine' (Finale, where everyone was in a way solo-ing till the cows came home). Thanks to everyone who was there, including those who had to just sit and watch through the whole thing (2 hours of it) w/o being able to have a decent conversation (as it was probably 80 Db throughout the playing in the studio).
An early dinner awaits. Afterwhich, a trip to the station would be in order.
It's nice to be back for the weekends. I can't say that enough.
;-)
