2:40 'Saturday Night'

'I remember running through the wet grass; Falling a step behind
Both of us never tiring; Desperately Wanting' - 'Desperately Wanting' by Better Than Ezra

A beautiful and satisfying Saturday nite, a few old friends came back to Taiping and we hung out together for some good hours. My head is now a splitting mess, but yes, it's not the destination; it's the journey ;-). A fairly good session of jamming at the new place called Intrigue Studios opposite from A. Rahman, the coffeehouse. Played a few new songs in addition to the older stuff, well that's jamming rite? (though we've been doing 'practising' a lot!, hehe, but i still get a rush from a good sounding session).

Adjourned to the memorial near the Lake Gardens, nothing but one still functioning street light and a gang of friends hanging out to fill the space and place. The darkness wasn't complete and the conversations brought more warmth than the cooling breeze that went by. A warm feel and basically no one was doing any catching up: or at least i thought so. Conversations that sometimes seem 'just on the surface/ idle talk' have much more honesty in them on nights such as these, no pretense, just ourselves and BEING ourselves, which is probably the 'truest' way of communication. And i felt so at home there.

I was practically 'running' the whole day since noon when i went for Badminton (heck, wong doesn't play badminton; oh yes he does: BADLY). Haha, i nearly sprained my left ankle today jumping to try and sink those shots into the opponents half of the court, akan tetapi, 1. I have no idea what i'm doing and 2. I have no idea what my body can or CAN'T do. Well, at least i did have a good exercise from all that. The sweat made me feel healthy, the lunch made me feel the exercise was worth it.

A good saturday night i must say, thanks everyone who made it a good one for me. Buds and Dudettes (all of which whom i want to conceal their rightful identities, 'cause who knows: My blog isn't really something that i should be proud of, and i might actually embarrass some of you if i include names, unless of course you give me the written permission to, ;-) , Have a good night's sleep, for some of us: It's going to be a long day tomorrow, Badminton again!!! (yea!).

Good morning Taiping.
